It was a great show, everyone sang along, and clapped along, and danced along to the music.
However instead the usual full concert recap we usually give in the Backstage Blog, I would like to highlight one (or three actually) particular thing that grabbed my attention, "what was David Crowder playing on stage?"
Beyond the rock concert staple: guitar, he brought out a couple musical instruments that I think we should examine.
In this photo you see David playing the guitar.

Normal? check.
Expected? check.
But then.....
Wait, what is that?

The "keytar" - invented in 1980 it is a combo of the keyboard and guitar.
Wikipedia has a great little mini history on the keytar is you want to further educate yourself on this retro jewel. HERE
And now for the big finish...
Ok, looks like a standard electric guitar.
Let's take a closer look...

THAT'S RIGHT! HE PLAYED A GUITAR-HERO ON STAGE!
The video game, literally brought to life on stage by Mr. Crowder. Well done David, well done.
Thanks to all our FISH friends that stopped by our booth to say hi to the street team!
Did you catch all the events that Lara announced on stage? The FISH is going to be BUSY... we've got a ton of concerts and events coming up, so go ahead and check out the events page, and we'll see you there!
