Countdown of the top ten great things about ringing in the new year with the Fish at Knott's...
TEN: Perfect weather! So, not that we can take credit for that, but it was amazing to have a perfect night, no rain, no wind, not even really all that cold.
NINE: Big Wave Dave's ski hat. I did manage to capture a photo of his now infamous "hat hair" but for his own sake I will not post it...yet.
EIGHT: Junk food. Hey if you are going to start January 1st on a diet, mind as well end December 31st with a famous Knott's Funnel Cake!
SEVEN: Friends! The Fish had lots of our FISH Friends and Family stop by the booth and broadcast all night! It was so much fun to see all of you, thanks for the friendship!
SIX: LEELAND! An amazing new band, put on an amazing show.
FIVE: Imagine - hundreds of screaming teenage girls yelling....."HAWK NELSON!!!!" Lara Scott was one of them! :)
FOUR: Aaron Shust! Always puts on a great show!
THREE: RIDES RIDES RIDES and RIDES! WOW Knott's has some amazing rides. One word: Xcelerator.
TWO: FIREWORKS! Never too old to oooooh and aaaaaah at fireworks!
ONE: Ringing in the NEW YEAR with my Friends at the FISH! Awwwww! I know it sounds cheesy, but it was honestly a great way to kick off the year! Thanks Engineer Richard, Janell and Danica from the Street Team, and Lara Scott and Big Wave Dave - You're the best!
